Your documents never leave your computer.

The VDot app

• No analytics, no telemetry. The app does not phone home, count your actions, or report crashes anywhere.
• No accounts. There is nothing to sign into and no profile stored anywhere.
• Your files stay local. Documents you open and PDFs you export live on your own computer. We never see them and could not read them if we wanted to.
• Works offline. After installation, VDot needs no internet connection at all.

License activation

Activating your license sends your license key and a device identifier to our licensing service so we can enforce the 3-device limit in the license terms. That is the only network call the licensed app makes, and it carries no document content.

This website

• No tracking. No advertising pixels, no analytics scripts, no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
• No email collection. This site has no forms that collect your address.
• Purchases. When checkout opens, payment is handled by our payment provider, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive order confirmation (what was bought, when) but not your full payment details.

Support requests

If you contact support, we receive whatever you send us. Please do not send private document content, credentials, or payment data; the support page lists exactly what to include. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request.

Changes

If this notice changes in a material way, we will announce it visibly. We will not silently add tracking to the app to reach a future release.
